Remembering Calli
This is for Calli.
Our pets are like our kids. We would do anything for them and do our best to protect them from harm.
Calli was 16 years old and was like our kid. We had taken her to the vet when we needed her shots and check-ups, and as she got older when had out problems, but this last time, Clli was having some trouble and took her in. They took her in right away, and what blew us away was that she had lung cancer, and it was bad, very bad, and there was nothing they could do.
We were heartbroken to hear this, and we could see how bad she was with her breathing. They got her ready for the I.V. to put in her and brought her in for us to spend time before she was put under. Here, breathing was like she was gasping for air, and we could not have her suffer, and we were there as the Doctor gave her the last shot to put her to sleep. I held her head as Cheryl, and I told her how much we loved her, and it was time for her to sleep and be with my Mom and Dad, and she took her last breath at 10:42 AM on December 26, 2016.
We are grieving her loss, and it hit us very hard (as some of you have been there too).

Calli has been a joy to Cheryl, and my heart is happy having her. The funny things she did and her love for us.
Godspeed, Calli. We will see you again and will never forget you.
